Comment traduire Adaptive load circuit ?

Je suis en math sup et j'ai un petit probleme pour un exposé qui parle des "traqueurs solaires".

Je n'arrive pas à comprendre ce qu'est un : "adaptive load circuit"

Document trouvé sur Internet :
"Chapter 6: Adaptive Load Circuit
As previously mentioned, the solar panels have non-linear I-V characteristics, which are
dependent on temperature and irradiance. Therefore the design of our adaptive load circuit must
meet certain specifications. First and foremost, the adaptive load circuit must have the ability to
adjust the effective resistance across the panel over a large range of resistance."

A quoi sert il ? Et comment puis je le traduire ?

Circuit adapteur de charge:Je suppose qu'il sagit d'un circuit qui adapte la charge en fonction de son utilisation.
